Ara Lodge 348 I.C. Heritage Walk

An exclusive opportunity to tour one of Auckland's most interesting heritage buildings, usually off-limits to the general public - Ara Lodge 348 I.C. Masonic traditions have long been shrouded in mystery and conspiracy theories abound.

Join us for a fascinating walking tour through the heart of Auckland's heritage precinct, where you'll hear about past lodge members including important historical figures in the formation of modern New Zealand.

The walk will end at New Zealand's oldest lodge, Ara Lodge 348 I.C. where we will enjoy a private behind-the-scenes tour. Leading politicians, famous artists (including Charles Heaphy), and prominent architects (such as Draffin, who designed this lodge and the Auckland War Memorial Museum) were all members here.
