High Tech Mannequins Innovate Medical Training at Bryant & Stratton College

As Chesterfield County expands access to healthcare for its residents, Bryant & Stratton College is ensuring the region has a highly prepared healthcare workforce. Through an advanced nursing simulation program, nursing students receive hands-on medical training using high-tech mannequins that simulate everything from cardiac arrest to complex childbirth. By immersing students in realistic hospital environments, the college ensures graduates are confident and workplace-ready from day one.

"Simulation gives students that opportunity to make mistakes in a safe environment before they're caring for real patients," said Rebecca Caldwell, simulation coordinator and Bryant & Stratton alumna. "It builds confidence, strengthens critical thinking and ultimately creates safer nurses."

Discover how this innovative approach to patient care is shaping the future of local nursing.
