Sen. Cramer: U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Awards More Than $3.2 Million to North Dakota

BISMARCK, N.D. - The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced the award of $3,288,153 to Cankdeska Cikana Community College and the University of North Dakota (UND). The funding will support the following Head Start partnerships and rural research initiatives:

  • $2,044,777 to Cankdeska Cikana Community College for Head Start partnerships with Tribal Controlled Land Grant Colleges and Universities.
  • $1,013,376 to UND for the Medicare Rural Hospital Flexibility program.
  • $230,000 to UND for the Rural Research to Diverse Audiences program.
