Temporary Road Closure: Warner Road Near Ellsworth

The City of Mesa advises motorists of an upcoming temporary closure of Warner Road, as part of ongoing reconstruction and paving improvements managed by Redpoint.

Location: Warner Road, from approximately 2,300 feet west of Ellsworth Road to 600 feet west of Ellsworth Road. Business access will be maintained.

Duration: Beginning at 4:00 a.m. on Monday, November 3, and will reopen by 10 p.m. on Thursday, November 13.

Full Closure: Warner Road will be closed to through traffic for the full 24-hour period throughout this timeframe

In addition, a final paving phase will require a complete closure of the same section on Monday, November 24, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Detour Routes:

Clearly marked detours will be in place to guide drivers safely around the work zone.

Westbound Traffic: Detour north and south on Ellsworth Road to Elliot Road and Ray Road, then proceed to Sossaman Road.

Eastbound Traffic: Detour north and south on Sossaman Road to Elliot Road and Ray Road, then proceed to Ellsworth Road.

Motorists are encouraged to plan extra travel time, follow posted signs, and use caution when traveling near construction areas. Local access will be maintained where possible.

This closure is necessary to allow Redpoint crews to complete roadway reconstruction and paving operations, improving the safety and quality of the Warner Road corridor.
