UAA Volleyball announces coaching transition
Acting Director of Athletics Tanya Pont announced Wednesday that head volleyball coach Stacie Meisner is on leave, effective Jan. 15. As part of the university's standard employment practices, additional details on this matter cannot be disclosed. We remain committed to supporting our student-athletes and athletics staff.
Pont has appointed Morgan Hooe to serve as acting head coach, effective immediately.
UAA will conduct a national search this spring for its next head coach.
