Mastodon State Historic Site hosts informational watershed program…

JEFFERSON CITY, MO, SEPT. 23, 2025 - Join the team at Mastodon State Historic Site as they host a family-friendly open house to explore the Rock Creek watershed. From 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 30, guests can learn how the watershed impacts their homes and community, and discover ways to protect it.

The "Living with Water - Learn about your Rock Creek Watershed" program will take place at the pavilion located at 1800 Seckman Road in Imperial. Experts from local, county and state organizations will be on hand to answer questions about water quality, development, conservation and watershed management. Elected officials will also be in attendance.

This free program will also feature interactive displays and activities for children. Registration is not required.
