CORREA VOTES NO ON DEFENSE SPENDING BILL

WASHINGTON - Today, U.S. Representative Lou Correa (CA-46) released the following statement on his 'no' vote on this year's defense spending bill, the FY27 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).

"Families are struggling to afford groceries, gas, or a doctor's visit. Instead of helping them, Republicans just voted to hand President Trump and Pete Hegseth $1.15 trillion for their 'Department of War' - the largest U.S. military budget in history. That's a lot of money to hand over after cutting healthcare and food assistance earlier this year. This bill is further proof that Republicans' priorities are backwards."
