Tempe Playlist shines a spotlight on local music
Tempe, AZ - Local music is the rocket fuel of Tempe's history and identity. To honor and support the galaxy of talent in our community, City of Tempe has unveiled the 2025-27 Tempe Playlist, a stellar lineup of artists and bands who are making an impact on the local music scene today.
Tempe Playlist celebrates 51 shining stars from Tempe and valley-wide musicians who are currently making and performing music, redefining old orbits and charting bold, original sounds. It features both established headliners and rising stars, spanning a wide universe of styles and venues.
The 2025-27 playlist is available for streaming on Spotify. An accompanying Tempe Playlist publication provides a bio, photo, website, social media and contact information for each artist. This book serves to connect musicians to event organizers, local businesses and others searching for out-of-this-world performances.
