Inseason Action #28 in Ocean Salmon Fisheries, South of Cape Falcon (Oregon Recreational)

NOAA Fisheries has taken inseason action in the recreational salmon fisheries south of Cape Falcon.

Inseason Action #28

  • Effective Friday September 4, 2026, reduce the coho quota for the Cape Falcon to Humbug Mountain ocean recreational non-mark selective coho fishery by 1,800 from 27,500 to 25,700. The quota is being adjusted on an impact neutral basis to account for an overage accrued during the prior South of Falcon ocean recreational mark-selective coho fishery.

Please refer to the Final Rule for the West Coast Salmon Fisheries 2026-2027 Specifications and Management Measures for additional regulations and supporting materials.
