The Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention and Military Equal Opportunity teams organized the "No One Left Behind" event to refresh Soldiers on SHARP- and MEO-related information and, through a team-based physical fitness cycle, emphasize the importance of tackling these issues together.

The event was also a way to remind Soldiers of what SHARP and MEO resources are available to them, Sgt. 1st Class Kassundra Harper, an equal opportunity advisor assigned to U.S. Army Japan, said.

As the event kicked off, the Soldiers tackled intense exercises using battle ropes and were then quizzed on SHARP and MEO scenarios.

"To combine PT with an informational briefing works better. It gives the Soldiers a little bit of motivation when we incorporate these different things," Harper said. "We put a little bit of competitiveness in it and a little bit of learning capabilities so that they're more informed about each program."

Harper said she was proud of how the troops performed together under pressure.

"They communicated well with each other through the exercises," Harper said. "They were able to work together using teamwork to get the job done."
