Gilbert’s 2025 State of the Town Video Earns Rocky Mountain Emmy® Nomination

Gilbert, Ariz.- The Town of Gilbert is proud to announce that its 2025 State of the Town video has been nominated for a prestigious Rocky Mountain Emmy® Award in the category of Public Affairs Program - Single Program. The nomination highlights Gilbert's continued commitment to transparency, innovation, and storytelling that connects and inspires the community.

Produced by Gilbert's Office of Communications and Engagement, the 2025 State of the Town is a 22-minute documentary style video that showcases Gilbert's achievements, strategic priorities, and vision for the future. Through compelling visuals, resident voices, and dynamic storytelling, the program reflects the town's dedication to engaging the public and celebrating the people who make Gilbert exceptional.

"This recognition is a testament to the creativity and professionalism of our team," said Mayor Scott Anderson. "The State of the Town video and my first State of the Town as Gilbert's Mayor, is more than a recap-it's a reflection of our shared values and aspirations. The Rocky Mountain Emmy® Awards are presented by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) Rocky Mountain Southwest Chapter, which includes Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, and El Centro, California. Winners will be announced at the annual awards ceremony on Saturday, October 19, 2025, in Phoenix.
