Illinois Soybean Board Seeking At-Large Candidates

The Illinois Soybean Board/Illinois Soybean Growers (ISB/ISG) Board of Directors has approved an absentee ballot process for voting in the 2026 At-Large Director election. The election will take place in conjunction with the summer Board meeting on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, in Champaign, Illinois. To participate in the election via absentee ballot, you must first complete, have notarized, and return an affidavit confirming that you meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Reside in the state of Illinois
  • Be engaged in the business of producing and marketing soybeans in Illinois
  • Be affected by the checkoff program by virtue of having the first right of ownership in any soybeans for which payment is received at the first point of sale.
