September is National Workforce Development Month, and here in Pinal County, we have a lot to celebrate!
Through ARIZONA@WORK Pinal County and the Pinal County Workforce Development Board, our community has built strong partnerships with local employers, supported thousands of job seekers, and helped grow a stronger economy for all of us.
What We've Accomplished Together
● Helping Businesses Thrive: From small local shops to major employers like Lucid, WinCo Foods, Florence Copper, and others, we've worked side by side with businesses to connect them with the skilled talent they need to succeed.
● Supporting Job Seekers: Whether someone is looking for their first job, a career change, or training for a new industry, ARIZONA@WORK Pinal County is here with no-cost services that open doors to the in-demand opportunities we have locally available.
● Building the Future Workforce: By partnering with schools, training providers, and industry leaders, we're making sure that students and workers are ready for the jobs of tomorrow, right here in Pinal County.
● Rapid Response When Needed: When companies face layoffs or closures, our team is quick to step in, providing support, training resources, and guidance to affected workers so they can get back on their feet.
Looking Ahead
We're not stopping here. To better serve the fastest-growing community in Pinal County, we're actively exploring an expansion of a new Business & Career Center in San Tan Valley. This center would bring job seeker services, employer support, and training opportunities closer to home for thousands of residents.
Why It Matters
Every success story, from a resident landing their dream job to a business expanding its operations, strengthens our local economy and quality of life. Workforce development isn't just about jobs, it's about building a community where people and businesses can grow together.
