DENVER, CO - Oct. 27, 2026 - Delta-v Capital ("Delta-v"), the Denver-based growth capital firm focused on infrastructure software, cloud services, and vertical software companies, today announced it has been named to Inc.'s 2026 Founder-Friendly Investors list1. The annual list recognizes private equity firms, venture capital firms, and lenders that back founder-led businesses and help them thrive. Honorees were selected in part based on direct feedback from the founders they have backed.
Since its founding in 2009, Delta-v has built its investment philosophy around a simple principle: capital should work for founders, not the other way around. The firm structures each investment around the priorities of founders and management teams, offering tailored solutions that can include growth equity, secondary liquidity and support for M&A consolidation. With more than 60 investments completed to date and $1.6 billion in assets under management, Delta-v has developed a track record of partnering with entrepreneurs through multiple stages of growth and, in some cases, across multiple companies.
"Founder-friendly investing isn't a label we set out to earn, but rather it's just how we believe this business should be done," said Dan Williams, Delta-v Capital Partner. "We've had the privilege of working with founders over decades, building relationships that continue well beyond a single transaction or company. Every founder has a different vision, set of priorities and definition of success. Our role is to bring the right capital and partnership to the table so they can pursue that vision. We are grateful to the founders who trust us to be part of their journey."
"Having Delta-v lead HiddenLayer's Series B was about more than securing the capital we needed to grow," said Chris Sestito2, HiddenLayer CEO and Co-Founder. "It was about finding a partner who understood our vision, believed in what we were building and was aligned with where we wanted to take the business. That kind of partnership makes a difference for founders, and it's a part of what sets Delta-v apart."
The recognition comes during a record-setting year for Delta-v. In 2026, the firm has made seven new investments, marking its most active year to date, and completed the largest financing in its history. Delta-v has also grown its team by 20 percent, expanding its capacity to support the founders and management teams it backs as they pursue their next stages of growth.
