DeKalb County House Legislative Delegation to Hold Post-Special Session Town Hall Meeting in Tucker

ATLANTA - DeKalb County House Legislative Delegation Chair Karla Drenner (D-Avondale Estates), Vice Chair Viola Davis (D-Stone Mountain) and Secretary Long Tran (D-Dunwoody), along with members of the DeKalb County House Legislative Delegation, will host a post-special session town hall meeting on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, from 7 - 8:30 p.m. at the City of Tucker Council Chambers.

These representatives note that the town hall meeting will provide residents with an opportunity to hear directly from members of the DeKalb House Delegation regarding Georgia's 2026 special session and how recent legislation may impact DeKalb County communities. They encourage residents to attend, ask questions and engage in discussions about issues affecting their daily lives.

These representatives note that topics of discussion may include: outcomes from the 2026 special session; legislation impacting DeKalb County; state budget priorities, education, healthcare, housing and transportation issues; redistricting and other statewide policy matters; and constituent questions and community concerns.
