Become Sanctuary’s Undoubted Savior

Revel once again in the Winds of Fortune and collect your first Refined Battle Pass cosmetics in this latest update. We're also introducing changes to matchmaking that we believe will improve the experience, and lead to improved competitive integrity.

As with previous content updates, there will be server maintenance starting on March 31, from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. PDT for Oceania, East Asia, Southeast Asia, and Europe servers, and on April 1, from 1 a.m.-3 a.m. PDT for servers in the Americas. After the maintenance has concluded, all items mentioned below will be live-specific dates for any features going live afterward are provided below.

Winds of Fortune

Horadric scholars are deep in study, unraveling the mysteries behind a sudden surge in materialized wealth. Meanwhile, Sanctuary's merchants waste no time, capitalizing on the phenomenon to expand their fortunes.

From April 9, 3:00 a.m.-April 16, 3:00 a.m. local server time, you will be able to activate a special boost and earn increased rewards!

While Winds of Fortune is live, activate your 24-hour buff to receive this boost. Once activated, the buff duration is in real time and will end 24 hours after it's been initiated. If you have not activated the buff within 24 hours of the event ending, it will be enabled automatically. Any rewards not claimed before the end of the event will be auto-claimed on the next log-in.

During Winds of Fortune, the 4-player party Normal Gems bonus drop will be doubled and unaffected by the daily cap, and only the first twelve Common Gems of the day will be tradable.

Any of these items will drop in duplicate quantities:

• Gold
• Experience
• Battle Pass Points
• Normal Gems
• Legendary Items

Items from these activities will also drop in duplicate quantities:

• Horadric Bestiary
• Challenge Rifts
• Bounties
• Fishing
• Dungeons
• Purge the Depths
• Accursed Towers
• Hidden Lairs
• Farming in the wilderness
• Codex Activities

Note that during this limited-time event, Battle Pass rewards will not be doubled, and the weekly limit on Battle Pass Points and Normal Gems will not change. Any bonus Experience gained will be affected by your current modifier.

Additionally, there are limits to each item that can be earned in duplicate quantities. You'll earn double the amount until you reach the limit. Check out the event in-game for more details.

Matchmaking Adjustments for Legendary Rank

To improve competitive integrity at the highest levels of play, we've updated matchmaking for Legendary-ranked players.

• Player Combat Rating is once again included in matchmaking for Legend rank and above.
• This system had previously been removed to reduce queue times but has been reinstated to improve overall match quality.
• This change applies to:
  • Assault
  • Convoy
  • Tower War

Refined Battlepass Cosmetics

The first Refined Battle Pass cosmetic set will be available in Battle Pass Season 51 and included in the upgraded track.

As a reminder, beginning with Battle Pass Season 50, Battle Pass cosmetics follow a multi-season progression:

• Earn a cosmetic in one Battle Pass
• Refine it in a second
• Unlock it for three additional classes in a third

Battleground Updates

• Healing zones now deal continuous damage when enemies enter them. This damage ignores effects such as invincibility and cannot be avoided.
• Spirit of Corvus' advancement and obstruction of the Zealous Idols will now be displayed on the Idol progress tracker.

Spring into Action

Event Dates: April 1, 3:00 a.m. - April 16, 3:00 a.m. (local server time)

Spring brings new momentum to Sanctuary-rise to the challenge and reap the rewards.

• Complete Daily and Weekly Tasks to earn points toward a variety of rewards.
• Daily Tasks include activities such as:
  • Iben Fahd's Sanctum
  • Erreban Castle
  • Abyssal Verge
  • Rewards include Aspirant's Keys, Runes, and more.
• Weekly Tasks include:
  • Leveling up Runes
  • Completing the Rite of Cleansing
  • Rewards include Telluric Pearls, Set Items, Legendary Items, and more.
• Accumulate points to unlock milestone rewards, including Moonrite Flora, Runes, and a Legendary Crest.

The Hells Quake

Event Dates: April 9, 3:00 a.m. - April 18, 3:00 a.m. (local server time)

Something stirs beneath Sanctuary-and when it emerges, the Hells themselves will tremble.

• Log in during the event to collect rewards from The Hells Quake.
• This limited-time event offers a glimpse of what is to come, preparing you for the dangers and trials still ahead.
