Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Bin Attends Belarus’ Independence Day Reception

On June 25, 2026, Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Bin, upon invitation, attended the reception hosted by the Embassy of Belarus in China to celebrate Belarus' Independence Day.

Liu Bin extended congratulations on Belarus' Independence Day and stated that under the strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and President Aleksandr Lukashenko, China-Belarus relations have achieved leapfrog development, with cooperation in various fields entering a fast track of high-quality and all-round development. China is ready to make joint efforts with Belarus to follow the important common understandings reached by the two heads of state as the fundamental guide, and promote the sustained growth of China-Belarus relations at a high level, so as to better benefit the two countries and their peoples.

Belarusian Ambassador to China Aliaksandr Charviakou spoke highly of the level of Belarus-China relations and the outcomes of cooperation in various fields, emphasizing that Belarus firmly abides by the one-China principle and is ready to work with China to continuously deepen bilateral practical cooperation, consolidate people-to-people friendship, jointly practice true multilateralism, and uphold international fairness and justice.
