9 Bruins inducted into the UCLA Athletics Hall of Fame class of 2026

Nine Bruin athletes and coaches, who combined to win eight NCAA championships and earn 12 All-America honors at UCLA, will be inducted into the UCLA Athletic Hall of Fame this fall. They will join Bruin greats such as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Arthur Ashe, Jackie Robinson, Bill Walton and John Wooden - all part of the first class of inductees when the Hall of Fame was established in 1984.

The new members will be officially inducted in an Oct. 23 on-campus ceremony and introduced at halftime of the UCLA vs. Michigan State football game on Oct. 24.

The new members of the class of 2026 are:

  • Garret Atkins, baseball
  • Kris Farris, football
  • Sam Mewis, women's soccer
  • Andre Phillips, men's track and field
  • Kelly Reeves, beach volleyball/women's volleyball
  • Matt Reis, men's soccer
  • Michael Sealy, men's volleyball/women's volleyball coach
  • Sam Storey, football
  • Earl Watson, men's basketball
