TORRANCE, Calif. - Torrance Memorial Medical Center has been recognized as a U.S. News & World Report Best Hospital for 2026-27, marking the 15th consecutive year the hospital has received the distinction.

Torrance Memorial improved to No. 7 in overall hospital quality in California and No. 4 in the Los Angeles and Orange County region. The hospital was recognized as high performing in six specialties and earned national rankings in Orthopedics at No. 27 and Obstetrics and Gynecology at No. 44.

Torrance Memorial was also rated high performing in 19 common adult procedures and conditions.

U.S. News & World Report evaluated nearly 4,500 hospitals across 14 adult specialties and 23 procedures and conditions. Only 16% of the hospitals evaluated earned a Best Hospitals designation.
