Statement by Foreign Minister Eide on the planned execution of Erfan Soltani

'The planned execution of Erfan Soltani is unacceptable and must be stopped,' said Minister of Foreign Affairs Espen Barth Eide.

'Soltani is one of the many who have taken part in the ongoing protest in Iran. Norway demands that Iran uphold its obligations under international law and immediately end the use of the death penalty,' said Eide.
