November 14, 2025 / #AdvocacyMatters
Our advocacy is at its best when we're out in the world, equipping advocates with tools and resources they need. From legal clinics about education to panel discussions and hosting informational tables at conferences, our team is always working to deliver information and resources to as many folks as possible.
This commitment to engagement and outreach will be clear this coming Monday, as members of our team will be hosting two different webinar events.
On Monday afternoon, we'll be hosting a live session on Pre-Employment Transition Services. This event will kickoff at noon, and will explain how DRO's Education Team and Client Assistance Program can help to support transition services for students and families. You can learn more and register to attend by clicking HERE.
On Monday evening, two of our team members will join the Case Western Reserve School of Law's Reproductive Rights Law Initiative for "Radical Inclusion at the DisCo: Reproductive Health Self-Advocacy." This session will focus on the self-advocacy of disabled folks offering a grounding in legal rights, reasonable accommodations, supported decision making and reproductive health self-advocacy tips. You can learn more and register to attend this event by clicking HERE.
"Voices Elevated. People Empowered. Equity Achieved." is more than our vision statement, it's the inspiration and drive behind these efforts to get this information out to the communities we serve and these resources directly to those who need them.
