Join faculty from the Department of Political Science and Public Administration in a discussion of the 2026 midterm election results on Monday, Nov. 9, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Phoenicia Cuisine.
Featuring a breakdown of outcomes, voter turnout, key races and emerging political trends, the event is open to all students and light refreshments will be provided.
"As a political science department, we think it's important to give students and the campus community opportunities to discuss and better understand what's happening in politics," said Dr. Jetsa Cáceres, chair of the Political Science and Public Administration Department. "With so much attention on this year's elections, we thought some of the most interesting discussions would happen once the votes were in and we had actual results to talk about. We're hoping people will come with questions and leave with a better understanding of what happened and what it might mean going forward."
