Washington, D.C. - Congressman Juan Ciscomani released the following statement after voting in favor of Concurring in the Senate amendments to H.R. 7148 - Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2026which passed the House with bipartisan support with a vote of 217-214.
"Passing these five appropriations bills today is another important step toward restoring regular order in Congress and delivering certainty for the American people. After months of bipartisan, bicameral work, the House honored the agreement we reached and did the job the American people sent us here to do. Today's package strengthens our national defense, supports veterans, education, and public health, invests in infrastructure and transportation, backs small businesses, and reinforces America's leadership abroad. With this step forward, more than 95 percent of the federal government will be funded through full-year appropriations, providing certainty and stability for families, communities, and our national security. I'm proud to be doing this work as Arizona's sole appropriator and to be fighting for the needs of Southern Arizona every step of the way. This package is now off to the President for signature."
