ASEAN-Korea Centre to Host the '2025 ASEAN Youth Career Mentorship Program'

-Providing ASEAN students in Korea with career mentoring, networking opportunities, and work visa guidance-

The ASEAN-Korea Centre (Secretary General Kim Jae-shin), in cooperation with the ASEAN Youth Network in Korea (AYNK), will host the '2025 ASEAN Youth Career Mentorship Program' on Saturday, October 25, at the ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC), Seoul. The Mentorship Program aims to deliver career-related information to ASEAN students in Korea who are interested in pursuing a professional career in Korea after graduation and to provide an opportunity for networking with other ASEAN students and their mentors - young ASEAN professionals currently working in Korea.
Since 2017, the AKC has been hosting the ASEAN Youth Career Mentorship Program to help ASEAN students enrolled in Korean universities prepare for their future careers in Korea.

The program will consist of three sessions. The first session, "All About the Work Visa," will share key information on the requirements and procedures for obtaining a work visa after graduation. The second session, "Listen to Your ASEAN Sunbae: ASEAN Youth Mentors," will invite ASEAN professionals from various fields, including food hospitality, fintech, energy solutions, and art logistics, who will share practical insights on employment strategies, Korean corporate culture, as well as their own workplace experiences.
The third and final session, "1:1 Peer Review and Networking," will allow participants to engage in one-on-one discussions with ASEAN mentors, providing a platform to ask questions, seek advice, and exchange ideas.

Secretary General Kim Jae-shin stated, "This year's program is expected to provide ASEAN youth with practical career tips and opportunities, helping them strengthen their employability and grow into future talents who will contribute to advancing ASEAN-Korea relations."
