Caldecott Tunnel Westbound State Route 24 (SR-24) Overnight Closure of Bore #3

Alameda and Contra Costa Counties - Caltrans is slated to close the Caldecott Tunnel Bore 3 on westbound SR-24 overnight in Alameda and Contra Costa counties on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, the closure will start at 10:00 p.m. and end at 4:30 a.m. the following morning. This closure is necessary for UPS and Breaker replacement and routine maintenance. All other tunnel bores in both directions will remain open to traffic.
