Linn County Route B Bridge to close April 13

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The Missouri Department of Transportation has contracted Louis-Company, LLC, to complete a bridge deck replacement project on three bridges in Grundy and Linn counties. The Linn County Route B bridge over Parsons Creek, west of Linneus, is scheduled to close beginning Monday, April 13.

Traffic Impacts: The Route B bridge will be closed through June 2026. Motorists will need to seek an alternate route around the closure.

Listed below are two other bridges included in this project:

  • Linn County Route U over Long Branch, northwest of Bucklin, closed through April.
  • Grundy County Route E over the Medicine Creek Drainage Ditch, east of Laredo, scheduled to begin in July 2026.
