LEE'S SUMMIT, MO - The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout the Kansas City region from Oct. 6-10. All work is weather permitting.
CLAY COUNTY
Route MM from U.S. Highway 69 to end of state maintenance: flagging operations with pilot cars from Monday, Oct. 6 until Wednesday, Oct. 8, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair.
JACKSON COUNT Y
Route V (Noland Rd.) between E 54th Ter. and U.S. Highway 40: flagging operations from Monday, Oct. 6 until Wednesday, Oct. 8, from approximately 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily, for ditch work.
Interstate 70 eastbound from Manchester Trfy. and Sterling Ave.: left lane closed on Wednesday, Oct. 8, from approximately 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., for barrier wall repair.
US-40 westbound under I-70: right lane closed on Thursday, Oct. 9, from approximately 9 a.m. until 3 p.m., for drainage work.
Missouri Highway 350 eastbound between Noland Rd. and Colbern Rd.: left lane closed on Thursday, Oct. 9 and Friday, Oct. 10, from approximately 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily, for culvert replacement work.
JOHNSON COUNTY
Route MM between NE 801 Rd. and NE 600 Rd.: flagging operations from Tuesday, Oct. 7 until Thursday, Oct. 9, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for drainage work.
LAFAYETTE COUNTY
Route Y between I-70 and end of state maintenance: flagging operations with pilot cars on Thursday, Oct. 9, from approximately 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily, for pavement repair work.
PETTIS COUNTY
Route HH between U.S. Highway 65 and Missouri Highway 135: flagging operations on Monday, Oct. 6, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for seal coating.
Route B between US-65 and Missouri Highway 127: flagging operations on Tuesday, Oct. 7, from approximately 7 a.m. until 4 p.m., for seal coating.
Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
