Dunwoody, GA - October 9, 2025 - At 12:10 a.m. on October 7, officers responded to 1302 Lake Ridge Lane in reference to a person shot call. Upon arrival, responding officers learned the following:
The victim was asleep in his apartment and awakened by the lights of his vehicle flashing through his window. His vehicle was parked in front of his bedroom window at his apartment at the time, so he walked outside to see why this was happening. When he opened the door, he saw a male inside his car and one standing outside. The male outside the vehicle fired five shots at him moments after he opened the door. One bullet struck the window and door jamb next to him causing debris from the door and window to strike him in chest. The others struck his apartment building and other vehicles in the area. The victim was not hit by any bullet. He received treatment from paramedics for non-life-threatening injuries at the scene and was not transported to the hospital.
