East Kingsfield Road Resurfacing Work Begins Jan. 19

East Kingsfield Road between Highway 29 and Highway 297-A will experience lane closures beginning Monday, Jan. 19 while crews resurface the roadway.

Traffic on East Kingsfield Road will be diverted through a one-way lane closure during the construction period. Drivers should use extra caution and follow road crew instructions and posted signs when traveling through the work zone. Paving is expected to be completed by Friday, Feb. 13, weather permitting.

Residents, pedestrians, local traffic and emergency vehicles will have access to properties within the work area at all times; however, there may be short periods when a driveway or entrance may be blocked temporarily as equipment and materials are moved during construction.

If other roadway closures are necessary or work is delayed, another notice will be issued.
