City of Bowling Green to Install New Sidewalks on Conneaut Avenue

The City of Bowling Green is constructing a sidewalk along the south side of Conneaut Avenue between Cedar Lane and Wintergarden Road, as well as on the side streets of Cedar Lane, Beech Street, Tamarac Lane and Devonshire Street. Construction is expected to begin Tuesday, Sept. 15.

During construction, one-way traffic in the westbound direction will be enforced between Wintergarden Road and Cedar Lane, and side streets will be closed intermittently. Some trees within the right-of-way will be removed, and Bowling Green Urban Forestry will identify potential replacements. The City of Bowling Green remains committed to investing in infrastructure that supports safety, accessibility, and active transportation. The Conneaut Sidewalk Project represents another step toward creating a more connected and walkable community.

Construction for this project is expected to be completed by October, depending on weather conditions and the progress of work. Use the City of Bowling Green Capital Projects Map for reference.
