AUC Chairperson bade farewell to Permanent Representative of ECCAS

The Chairperson of the African Union Commission, H.E. Mahmoud Ali Youssouf, today bade farewell to H.E. Jean Jacques Demafouth, Permanent Representative of the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS) to the African Union. The Chairperson expressed his appreciation to Ambassador Demafouth for his active and constructive engagement in the work of the Union and for his contribution to strengthening AU-ECCAS relations.

The Chairperson wished Ambassador Demafouth every success in his future endeavours and expressed his readiness to continue working closely with ECCAS and his successor in advancing the shared aspirations and interests of the African continent.
