WT Alumni Association to Host Chats with University Deans in January

CANYON, Texas - Leaders of three of West Texas A&M University's Colleges will hold virtual conversations with alumni and supporters in January.

The WT Alumni Association will host three Dean's Discussion meetings via Zoom.

"WT alumni and supporters can engage directly with the dean of their college or area of support," said Ronnie Hall, executive director of the WT Alumni Association. "They'll receive updates, learn about upcoming initiatives for 2026, and have time for open discussion with the deans."

The discussions, each of which will begin at 12:15 p.m., are scheduled as follows:

• Jan. 5: Dr. Gary Bigham, dean of the Terry B. Rogers College of Education and Social Sciences; register at bit.ly/wt-dean-coess

The Alumni Association hosts such conversations with deans across the campus on alternating years.

Strengthening existing and creating new relationships with alumni is a key mission of the University's long-range plan, WT 125: From the Panhandle to the World.

That plan is fueled by the historic One West comprehensive fundraising campaign, which reached its initial $125 million goal 18 months after publicly launching in September 2021. The campaign has raised more than $175 million and will continue through 2025.
