There will be possible DAYTIME or NIGHTTIME lane closures at various locations in Region 4 to make repairs or new installs on an as needed basis at various locations throughout the 21 counties.

District 47
BENTON, CARROLL, HENRY, GIBSON, OBION, WEAKLEY, DYER COUNTY

VARIOUS ROUTES: Pavement testing will cause temporary lane closures on various routes in district 47.

BENTON COUNTY

I-40 at Exit 126: The grading, drainage, and paving on I-40 at the US-641 (SR-69) interchange (Exit 126) will cause temporary lane closures throughout the project.

BENTON COUNTY

SR-1 (US70): The grading, drainage, and paving on SR-1 (US 70) from the Camden Bypass to the Tennessee River will cause temporary lane closures throughout the project. The following roads will be closed for constructions, traffic will utilize Cutt-Off Rd to access US-70 (SR-1): Missionary Grove Church Rd from US 70 (SR-1) to Old Hwy 70 and Old Hwy 70 from Missionary Grove Church Rd to US 70 (SR-1).

CARROLL COUNTY

SR-1 (US 70): The Resurfacing on SR-1 (US 70) from near Rutherford Fork Obion River to SR22 includes all directions of Huntingdon Square) will cause temporary nightly and daily lane closures throughout the project for milling and paving and bridge repair.

CARROLL COUNTY

SR-1 (US 70): Maintenance resurfacing will tentatively begin the week of April 20, 2026 to address potholes from the Madison County line (l.m. 0.00) to near Parker Store Rd (l.m. 9.5). This work is weather and schedule dependent.

CARROLL COUNTY

SR-22 & SR364: The Resurfacing on SR-22 from near SR77 to SR77 and SR364 from SR22 to SR77 will cause lane closures throughout the project paving and bridge repair.

CARROLL COUNTY

SR-76 (US-79): The grading, drainage, noise walls, signals and paving on U.S. 79 (S.R. 76) from near S.R. 77 to near Cutlip Lane will cause lane closures throughout the project.

Meadowbrook Lane is closed.

Cutlip Lane: Traffic was shifted to the new alignment from near Cutlip Ln. to the Connector Rd. leading into Trezevant, speed limit reduced to 35 MPH. Traffic will proceed down the new alignment to an All Way Stop and then proceed onto Old US79 (SR76).

Dorsey Rd is closed for utility realignment and road construction, weather permitting. Detour route will be delineated by signage.

Clay Farm Rd is closed for utility realignment and road construction, weather permitting. Detour route will be provided along Newsome Rd and will be delineated by signage.

Power Station Rd: Is closed for road construction, and traffic will be detoured along US-70A/SR105 Main Street.

SR105: Traffic will be shifted to new realignment close to Power Station Road.

DYER COUNTY

US-51 (SR-3): The Resurfacing on US-51 (SR-3) from near SR181 to SR-78 will cause lane closures throughout the project for paving.

SR-103: The Resurfacing on SR-1033 from near Ragan Levee Rd to near US-412 (SR-20) will cause lane closures throughout the project for paving.

DYER COUNTY

SR-211: The bridge over the North Fork Forked Deer River (just south of Dyersburg) will have outside lane closures for inspection and evaluation beginning August 9, 2024.

OBION COUNTY

TN-22 and US-51 INTERCHANGE: The full-depth repair of concrete ramps at the TN-22 and US-51 interchange will cause the ramp from TN-22N to US-51S to be closed from Tuesday, April 7th through the remainder of the week. A signed detour is provided.

WEAKLEY COUNTY

SR124: The miscellaneous safety improvements including resurfacing on SR124 will cause temporary lane closures throughout the project.

HENRY COUNTY

SR-54: Soil boring operations from north of Puryear to north of Paris resulting in temporary lane closures daily from 7a, - 5pm - weather permitting. Work will commence on April 13, 2026 and last 9-10 weeks.

District 48

CHESTER, CROCKETT, DECATUR, HARDEMAN, HARDIN, HAYWOOD, HENDERSON, MADISON, MCNAIRY


CHESTER COUNTY

SR100 between E. Main St. and Baker Rd.

Crews are replacing 2 bridges on SR100 between E. Main St. and Baker Rd. Please use caution throughout the area. There is a temporary traffic signal in place at the bridge over Dry Creek, east of Henderson.

Restrictions: Speed: Speed limit is reduced from 55 MPH to 45 MPH on SR100

Width: 12' Width Restriction

CHESTER COUNTY

Talley Store Rd. (County Road) will be closed between Terry Ln. To past Talley Rd.

Beginning March 23rd at 7:00 a.m.: Talley Store Rd. Will be closed bridge replacement.

CROCKETT COUNTY

SR88 in Bells, TN in relation to relocating SR76 around Picsweet

Beginning Thursday, August 14, 2025 the following roads will be closed in Bells, TN

· Central Ave. (SR88) from High St. To Christian Ave Ext.

· Central Ave. (SR88), west of the CSX Railroad

· Weddle St., south of Mitchell Ave.

· Hicks St., from High St. to south of existing Central Ave. (SR88)

A posted detour will be in place for SR88.

DECATUR AND HENDERSON (Winter Storm Fern Debris Removal)

I-40 from MM95 to MM126

Tuesday, April 7 through Thursday, April 30: There will be shoulder closures on I-40 in Henderson and Decatur Counties both east and westbound for storm debris removal.

HARDIN COUNTY

Bridge on SR 128 over the Pickwick Dam

Wednesday, April 15 through Wednesday, April 22:

There are no scheduled closures.

HAYWOOD COUNTY

SR180 Near Jeffries Rd. To Raymond Akin Rd. Closed to through traffic

SR180 is closed to through traffic for bridge construction.

HAYWOOD COUNTY (TDOT Floating Maintenance)

I-40 Eastbound MM 49-55

Monday, April 27 through Wednesday, April 29, 8:30 a.m.- 3:30 p.m.: There will be intermittent single lane closures eastbound on I-40 at various locations between MM 49 and MM55 for asphalt resurfacing.

MCNAIRY AND CHESTER COUNTY

SR 224 from US64 to SR22A in Chester County

The resurfacing with cold in-place recycling (thin mix overlay) on SR224 from US 64 (SR15) (LM 12.15) in McNairy County to SR22A (LM 0.29) in Chester County, including bridge repair work will cause daily lane closures.

MCNAIRY COUNTY

SR 5 (US 45) from SR57 to US64

The resurfacing with cold in-place recycling on US45 (SR5) from SR57 (LM 6.00) to US 64 (SR15) (LM 11.71), including concrete repair on the bridge over Roland Creek will cause daily lane closures.

FAYETTE COUNTY

I-269 (SR-385) from near SR-86 (U.S. 72) to SR-57:

Daily: Northbound I-269 (SR-385) will be reduced to one lane from SR-86 (U.S. 72) to SR-57 for bridge maintenance activities. At least one lane will remain open at all times. The speed limit will be reduced from 65 mph to 55 mph through the work zone. There will be a 12' lane width restriction over the I-269 North (SR-385 East) bridge at L.M. 1.23.

Daily: Southbound I-269 (SR-385) will be reduced to one lane from SR-86 (U.S. 72) to SR-57 for bridge repair activities. At least one lane will remain open at all times. The speed limit will be reduced from 65 mph to 55 mph through the work zone. There will be a 12' lane width restriction over the I-269 South (SR-385 West) bridge at L.M. 1.23.

SHELBY COUNTY

SR- 14/ US-61 (Third Street) Bridges over ICRR and Nonconnah Creek (L.M. 7.13) Shelby County, Tennessee. Interstate 55 Exit Ramp Bridge to State Route 14 (L.M. 7.44) State Route 14 (South 3rd Street) Bridge over Interstate 55 (L.M. 7.46).

The following ramps on US-61 S Third St (SR14) at I 55 will continue to remain closed with detours in place:

· Northbound S.R. 14 to northbound I-55.

· Southbound S.R. 14 to southbound I-55.

· Southbound I-55 to southbound SR-14

· Northbound I-55 to northbound/southbound SR-14

Beginning Wednesday, September 3, 2025, northbound SR-14 traffic will be reduced to one lane from the approach to the bridge over Nonconnah Creek to just beyond the northbound SR-14 to northbound I-55 loop ramp. Drivers can expect intermittent flagging on SR14.

I-240 from I-40 (L.M. 0.00) to I-55 (L.M. 6.00):

Nightly, 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.: There will be intermittent lane closures for resurfacing operations. One lane to remain open in both directions at all times.

I-240 from near Elvis Presley Blvd (L.M. 6.00) to near S Perkins Rd (L.M. 12.72):

Friday, April 24, 8:00 p.m. to Monday, April 27th, 6:00 a.m. Ramp at Exit 16 to SR385 will be reduced to one lane: There will be intermittent lane closures for concrete pavement repair operations. One lane to remain open at all times for both directions.

I-40 at Exit 25 Airline Rd.:

Nightly, 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.:: There will be intermittent temporary lane closures along I40 Eastbound and Westbound and ramps at the Interchange for Airline Rd. Exit 25 in Arlington for soil drilling activities.

STATE ROUTES

SHELBY COUNTY

SR-1 (U.S. 70, Summer Ave.) from near I-40 to North of Sycamore View Rd.:

Daily: There will be temporary lane closures along Westbound and Eastbound SR-1 for roadway widening activities. Eastbound SR-1 will be reduced from two lanes to one lane beginning at the I-40 Frontage Rd. and ending East of Sycamore View Rd. Westbound SR-1 will be reduced from two lanes to one lane beginning near Munson Rd. and ending at the I-40 Frontage Road. Trucks will be entering and exiting the work zone along SR-1. Flaggers will be present for directing traffic as necessary. At least one lane in each direction will remain open at all times.

Beginning Wednesday, February 18th: Access to Summer Trees Drive along SR-1 (Summer Avenue) will be temporarily closed with detours in place.

SHELBY COUNTY

SR-4 from South of Shelby Drive (L.M. 1.10) to the Raines/Perkins Road interchange (L.M. 3.50): The following routes will be affected due to roadway widening activities along SR-4.

Affected Routes:

· Lamar Avenue (SR-4): Speed limit reduced from 55 mph to 45 mph from South of Shelby Drive to the Raines/Perkins Road interchange.

· Shelby Drive (SR-175): Speed limit reduced from 45 mph to 35 mph at the intersection with Lamar Avenue (SR-4).

· Pleasant Run Road: Closed to thru traffic from Pleasant Hill Road. Pleasant Run Road is closed from Lamar Avenue (SR-4).

SHELBY COUNTY

SR-14 from Kerrville Rosemark Road to the Tipton County Line:

The widening on SR-14 (Austin Peay Hwy) from Kerrville-Rosemark to the Tipton County Line will cause shoulder closures and temporary lane closures in both directions. There will be intermittent lane closures daily on eastbound and westbound SR 14 to perform grading, drainage, and paving work. Tracy Rd., Idaville Rd., Mulberry Rd., and Gragg Rd. will be closed, and a detour put in place.

SHELBY COUNTY

SR-57 (E. Poplar Avenue) from Fletcher Road to I-269 (SR-385):

Daily: There will be intermittent temporary lane closures along East and Westbound SR-57 for roadway widening activities. Flaggers will be present for directing traffic. At least one lane will remain open at all times.

SHELBY COUNTY

SR-3 (Bellevue Blvd) from Heistan Place to Union Avenue:

Nightly from 8:00 pm to 6:00 am.: There will be intermittent temporary lane closures for Milling and Paving Ramp. At least one lane in each direction to remain open at all times.

SHELBY COUNTY

SR-15 (U.S. 64) from New Brunswick Road to Rockcreek Parkway:

Saturday, April 25 at 6:00 a.m. through Monday, April 27 at 6:00 a.m.: The right two lanes on westbound SR 15 will be closed for pavement repair. The entrance ramps to east and westbound I-40 from east and westbound SR-15 will be closed. The exit ramp from westbound I-40 to SR-15 will be closed. The exit ramp from eastbound I-40 to westbound SR 15 will be closed. Detours will be provided. Weather Permitting.

SR-3 (US51 Elvis Presley Blvd.) from Craft Rd. L.M. 3.41 to Winchester Rd. L.M. 4.1: There will be long-term lane closures going north and southbound SR 3 (US51) to perform reconstruction improvements.
