The City of West Hollywood, in partnership with the Los Angeles LGBT Center's WeHoLife program, will celebrate the launch of its new Community Health Hub pilot program with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Monday, October 19, 2026 at 4:30 p.m. at West Hollywood Park's Robertson Lawn, located at 647 N. San Vicente Boulevard. Community members are encouraged to join; to attend, please RSVP at go.weho.org/CHHlaunch.
The Community Health Hub is a one-year pilot program featuring a public health vending machine located in West Hollywood Park near the 24-hour restrooms and small dog park that will provide free, 24/7 access to health, safety, wellness, and harm-reduction supplies. Operated by WeHoLife, a program of the Los Angeles LGBT Center, the Hub will provide private access with no ID or staff interaction required.
The Community Health Hub supports the City of West Hollywood's efforts to promote health and wellness, prevent accidental overdose and illness, and connect people to services and care. Supplies will include naloxone and fentanyl test kits, at-home HIV and syphilis test kits, safer sex supplies, wound care and hygiene kits, sharps containers, safer injection and smoking kits, and nightlife safety supplies.
The ribbon-cutting celebration will include City leaders and community partners, a demonstration of the Community Health Hub, an opportunity to meet program staff, and light refreshments.
The Community Health Hub is designed to serve West Hollywood's diverse community, including residents, workers, visitors, nightlife patrons, and people experiencing homelessness or housing instability. By providing access outside traditional service settings and operating hours, the Hub offers another way to obtain health and safety resources privately and when they are needed.
