The Bridge Replacement Project on Beaver Lake Road over Shoal Creek will begin on July 13 and will begin closing. An off-site detour will be provided

Coweta County- The Georgia Department of Transportation (Georgia DOT) contractors will begin constructing a bridge replacement on Beaver Lake Road and Shoal Creek on July 13, 2026. The bridge will be closed for the project's duration until construction is completed. The project is slated to be completed this fall.

The proposed project would construct a new bridge over Shoal Creek that will be built at the current location.

This project would include an off-site detour.

ADVISORY: Dates may change due to weather or other factors. Motorists are advised to expect delays, exercise caution, and reduce their speed while traveling through work zones.
