Leading From Where You Are – Professional Development Opportunity

UT Employee Engagement & Organizational Development has an upcoming professional development opportunity open to all UT employees: Leading From Where You Are (LFWYA). This free, Zoom-based certificate program lays out the foundation for leadership and is open to employees at every level, across all campuses and institutes. A brief description of the program is below. Feel free to share with colleagues!

LFWYA Description

Leading From Where You Are is a seven-session online certificate program designed for the leadership development of all employees, regardless of status, classification, or title. The program is recommended for all employees. The interactive nature of the program will encourage participants to engage with the material, share experiences, and learn from one another through facilitated discussions. Attendance at six of seven sessions is required for credit in K@TE.

Participants will explore topics such as leadership fundamentals, emotional intelligence, around-the-clock leadership, and building strong organizational relationships. This transformational experience challenges the traditional notion that leadership is tied to a title, instead promoting a mindset of influence, responsibility, and impact, regardless of one's position within an organization.
