Support for macOS 26 (Tahoe) on university-owned computers now available

The Office of Information Technology now provides support for macOS 26 ("Tahoe") for university-owned computers. Faculty and staff may contact the Help Desk to arrange an appointment for the upgrade, or can proceed on their own and follow instructions to update to Tahoe.

It is important to create a backup of the system before the update - please contact the Help Desk for assistance.

Tahoe may not support older software or hardware, so if a user has software that hasn't been updated in several years, or has older peripherals or a seasoned printer, contact the Help Desk for consultation before proceeding with the update.
