On 12 June 2026, Ms. Pinsuda Jayanama, Director-General of the Department of International Organizations, had discussions with Mr. David Bedard, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State, U.S. Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), to discuss cooperation between Thailand and the U.S. in combating online scams.

Both sides exchanged information and views on developments in cooperation between Thailand and the U.S. in countering online scams, based on various international meetings, including the International Conference on the Global Partnership Against Online Scams in December 2025 in Bangkok and the Global Fraud Summit in March 2026 in Vienna. The U.S. side provided an update on the implementation of the U.S. Executive Order on Combating Cybercrime, Fraud, and Predatory Schemes against American Citizens.

Both sides also explored possibilities for co-organizing activities between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the U.S. Department of State on themes related to online scams, and for supporting training courses on combating online scams conducted by the International Law Enforcement Academy (ILEA) Bangkok.
