TRAFFIC ALERT: U.S. Route 160/North Fork Spring River Bridge CLOSED in Barton Co. Jan. 20-22 & 26-29

Where: U.S. Route 160 over North Fork Spring River in Barton County north of Golden City

When:

• 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Tuesday-Thursday, January 20-22
• 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Thursday, January 26-29

What: Missouri Department of Transportation crews will do advance work in preparation for replacing the bridge in the future

Traffic impacts:

• All lanes of U.S. Route 160 CLOSED where crews are working during daytime hours
• All lanes of U.S. Route 160 OPEN during nighttime hours
• No signed detour
• Drivers will have access to all entrances and driveways on either end of the bridge but will not be able to drive through the work zone
• Signs and message boards will alert drivers approaching the work zone
• Drivers encouraged to find alternate routes
• Check MoDOT's Traveler Information Map for road closings/traffic impacts

Weather and/or scheduling conflicts could alter the work schedule.
