City of Pasadena Department of Transportation Announces Greenways Project Outreach With Events and Workshops

PASADENA, Calif. - The City of Pasadena Department of Transportation is inviting community members to help shape the Greenways Project, an initiative to create calmer, safer neighborhood streets while maintaining local access and improving connections for people walking, biking, and driving.

The project focuses on four key north-south corridors-El Molino, Wilson, Sierra Bonita, and Craig Avenues-that connect neighborhoods to schools, parks, transit, businesses, and Pasadena's existing active transportation network. By improving these corridors, the Greenways Project will help strengthen connections across the 210 Freeway and create a more comfortable and connected transportation network.

The Greenways Project is being developed in collaboration with the community to reflect local priorities and support Pasadena's broader goals for safety, mobility, and sustainability.
