Chinese Ambassador to The Bahamas Yan Jiarong Meets with the Resident Representative of UNDP
On 22 October 2025, Her Excellency Yan Jiarong, Chinese Ambassador to The Bahamas, met with Mr. Kishan Khoday，the Resident Representative of UNDP. Mr. Peng Jing, Commercial Attaché of the Chinese Embassy and Mr. Li Weijun, First Secretary attended the meeting.
Ambassador Yan elaborated on China-Bahamas relations and the major initiatives proposed by President Xi Jinping. The two sides had in-depth exchanges on projects planning under the Global Development and South-South Cooperation Fund, enhancing trilateral cooperation in areas such as agriculture, climate change, energy transition, and capacity building, as well as implementing the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
