Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs meets with Adviser for Foreign Affairs of the Government of Bangladesh

On 24 July 2026, H.E. Mr. Vijavat Isarabhakdi, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, had a meeting with H.E. Mr. Humaiun Kobir, Adviser for Foreign Affairs of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.

Both sides discussed ways to further strengthen Thailand - Bangladesh cooperation across all areas, including in the political, security, economic and tourism sectors. The Vice Minister also underscored the importance of enhancing connectivity between the two countries through the development of both hard and soft infrastructure to facilitate trade and investment, as well as to strengthen supply chain linkages.

Both sides also exchanged views on regional developments, including the developments in Myanmar, the Thailand - Cambodia situation and the Rohingya issue. They also reaffirmed the importance of strengthening cooperation at both bilateral and multilateral levels to address transnational security challenges, particularly efforts to combat online scams.
