Closures on State Routes 99, 108, 120, and Interstate 5

Stanislaus County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct various lane and ramp closures next week on State Route 99 (SR-99), State Route 108 (SR-108), State Route 120 (SR-120), and Interstate 5 (I-5). Work is scheduled to occur as follows:

State Route 99

• Full closures of the southbound offramps to Maze Boulevard and L Street in Modesto for maintenance work on Monday, September 22, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
• Closure of the southbound #3 (right) lane from L Street to G Street in Modesto for maintenance work on Monday, September 22, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
• Full closure of the southbound offramp to Tuolumne Boulevard and onramps from Tuolumne Boulevard and G Street in Modesto for maintenance work on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
• Full closures of the northbound onramp from Tuolumne Boulevard and offramp to G Street in Modesto on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
• Closure of the northbound #3 (right) lane from Tuolumne Boulevard to I Street in Modesto for maintenance work on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
• Full closure of the northbound onramp from I Street in Modesto for maintenance work on Thursday, September 24, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
• Closure of the northbound #3 lane from I Street to L Street in Modesto for maintenance work on Thursday, September 24, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
• Overnight, intermittent full closures of the offramps to Main Street, Lander Avenue, and the Enoch Christoffersen Rest Areas in Turlock for striping work beginning Sunday, September 21, through Friday, September 26, 2025, from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

State Route 108

• Overnight, one-way traffic at First Street in Riverbank for electrical work beginning Sunday, September 21, through Friday, September 26, 2025, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
• Overnight, one-way traffic control at Crane Road in Oakdale for electrical work beginning Sunday, September 21, through Friday, September 26, 2025, from 8:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

State Route 120

• One-way traffic control at Blitz Creek, east of Lancaster Road, for utility work on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
• Overnight, alternating lane closures at State Route 108 (F Street) in Oakdale for electrical work beginning Sunday, September 21, through Friday, September 26, 2025, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

Interstate 5

• Long-term, full closures of the northbound and southbound Westley Safety Roadside Rest Areas on I-5 and the auxiliary lane leading to the southbound rest area exit for construction work.
  Note: This project is expected to continue through the spring of 2026.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
