NM Supreme Court sets oral arguments for Rep. Rebecca Dow's case for Tuesday at 9:30 AM

Santa Fe, NM - This upcoming Tuesday will mark the beginning of oral arguments for Rep. Rebecca Dow's case in the New Mexico Supreme Court. This argument is very simple: we are fighting for the voting rights of constituents in Doña Ana, Sierra, and Socorro counties as Democrats are trying to remove her from the ballot on a technicality.

"What Democrats are doing to Rebecca is shameless," said Chairwoman Amy Barela. "Rebecca Dow is a duly elected member of the New Mexico State House and, what makes this even worse, is that she is running unopposed in the June 2nd Primary Election. This is voter suppression to the core and political tactics like this don't belong in New Mexico. We are going to fight this until the very end because, not only does this set a very dangerous precedent, the people of our state deserve better."
