The City of Columbia has postponed the Let's Talk Local discussion with Ward 1 Council Member Valerie Carroll, originally scheduled for Sunday, Jan. 25, due to potential winter weather.
The City will provide an updated time and location once staff reschedule the event. A link to the new registration form will be available at that time as well.
City Council members hold Let's Talk Local events monthly. This discussion will focus on how to develop strong neighborhood communities. City staff will also be present to answer questions. These meetings are open to all residents from any ward. Refreshments will be provided.
Residents are encouraged to bring questions to the event or submit them in advance on the Ask City Council page. Council members and City staff will try to answer these as time allows at the meeting. Staff will post answers to questions submitted online on the BeHeard website following the meeting.
Residents can find which ward they reside in by viewing the City's Wards Map page.
Members of the public may attend any open meeting. For requests for accommodations related to disability, please call 573.874.CITY (2489) or email [email protected]. To assist staff in making the appropriate arrangements for your accommodation, please make your request as far in advance of the posted meeting date as possible.
