TAMPA, FL (April 17th,2026) - Tampa Police officers are currently investigating a shooting that injured two people.
At 8:11pm, officers responded to the 1200-block of North Marion Street for a reported shooting. When officers arrived, they located two adult males with gunshot wounds. Both were taken to the hospital, one is listed in stable condition, while the other remains in critical condition.
Based on the preliminary investigation, there was an argument between the individuals before the shooting.
Officers have detained a person of interest and are actively working to determine their involvement.
