The past quarter marked a strong period of momentum for KMX, highlighted by continued team growth and the advancement of our North American expansion.
In this update, I'll share insights into our expanding team and outline how our team is driving key operational, technical, and commercial initiatives.
KMX's operations team, led by Chris Kelley, remains focused on scaling execution while delivering for cornerstone customers. Key priorities include pilot execution, supply-chain enhancement, and driving operational efficiencies.
We are excited to welcome Clint Falgout to the team as a Project Manager. Clint recently joined KMX following 18 years at SLB and has jumped into a pivotal role supporting KMX's core customer work, including operations for oil & gas produced water desalination. Clint is also set to play an important role in the expansion of KMX's Vacuum Membrane Distillation (VMD) system manufacturing capabilities.
KMX's engineering team, which includes world renowned VMD system engineers, Abd-Elghani Hamiti and Mostafa Nosraty, continues to build-out large-scale and decentralized commercial designs for various end-markets with a focus on sustainability and energy reuse applications.
Under the leadership of Alexander de-Vogel, KMX's commercial team is undergoing a major pipeline expansion and diversification drive. The team has grown substantially over the past year and is positioned to continue scaling in support of new markets and customers.
Haley Garrison, Technical Sales Engineer, has emerged as a critical integrator of KMX's commercial and operational strategy. Most recently, Haley has driven the KMX VMD Calculator, our in-house AI-enabled platform leveraging the team's expertise in brine chemistry and mineral recovery to accelerate customer evaluation and system design.
Andrew Kristof recently joined KMX as a Design Engineer in a commercial capacity. Andrew is already making meaningful contributions through value engineering initiatives that improve the capital efficiency and commercial competitiveness of our systems.
We also recently welcomed Glenn Miller, who is driving KMX's commercial diversification efforts. Glenn is focused on bringing KMX's proprietary brine concentration and mineral recovery technologies to new end-markets, with an initial emphasis on North America.
KMX's R&D and scientific team continues to strengthen the company's leadership in VMD. Dr. Sean Ghayeni continues to lead breakthroughs as it relates to KMX's proprietary membrane technology and its unique applications. Dr. Matt Narrol continues to push the limits of thermodynamic efficiencies and mineral recovery opportunities available from our technology platform.
Matthew McClure, KMX's Lab Technician, has further enhanced the R&D team's operational abilities. Matthew recently led a pivotal pilot for a major KMX customer and continues to identify new opportunities to enhance performance and operational outcomes.
Looking ahead, the team is gearing up for a major push into a new and exciting end-market. We hope to share more soon!
