General Assembly Working Group on Addiction and Recovery to Hold Meeting at State Capitol

ATLANTA - The General Assembly Working Group on Addiction and Recovery, co-chaired by State Representatives Mathew Gambill (R-Cartersville) and Michelle Au (D-Johns Creek) and Senators Randy Robertson (R-Cataula) and Sonya Halpern (D-Atlanta), will hold a meeting on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at 9 a.m. in room 341 of the Georgia State Capitol in Atlanta.

The working group will meet to consider policy on agriculture, the addiction epidemic and nursing. There will also be a screening of the documentary, Fentanyl: Death Incorporated.

Additionally, there will be separate panel discussions for agriculture and nursing, as well as a panel discussion on the documentary.
