Eaglecrest Board of Directors to Interview Finalist for General Manager Position

The Eaglecrest Board of Directors will interview Julie Jackson Piper, the finalist for the Eaglecrest Ski Area General Manager position, during their public meeting on Thursday, July 2 at 5:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Assembly Chambers and over Zoom webinar.

Members of the public are welcome to provide comments about the candidate. CBJ Human Resources will distribute a feedback form at the meeting that will also be available in the July 2 Meeting Agenda Packet. Feedback forms will be collected at the meeting and by email for the Board to review after the interview.

Below is more information about the final candidate:

Julie Jackson Piper
Ms. Piper is currently employed as the Recreation Manager for the City of Richland, Washington, and she has served in that role since 2018. Her prior experience includes being the Aquatics Manager for the City and Borough of Juneau and Youth & Community Outreach Coordinator & Snowsports School Supervisor at Eaglecrest. Ms. Piper has a Bachelor of Science in Ski Area Business Management from Northern Michigan University. Her resume and cover letter can be found in the July 2 Meeting Agenda Packet.

An announcement of the new general manager will occur once an offer has been made and accepted.
