Court of Appeals Issues Appointment Orders

On September 16, the D.C. Court of Appeals issued appointment orders for three-year terms to the Committee on Unauthorized Practice of Law (CUPL). Maura E. McGonigle will serve as chair of the committee, and Adam Zajac will serve as vice chair, both effective October 22.
David Petron has been appointed to the CUPL effective September 16. Linden A. Fry and John D. Seiver have also been appointed, effective October 22.
The committee will also see reappointments for three-year terms for some current members. David M. Horniak will serve again, effective October 22; David Simmons and Sharon Hutchins have been reappointed nunc pro tunc to March 14, 2026 and March 24, 2024, respectively.
